A letter from Prison

Dearest Love,
I wish I had told you
What happened long, long ago
Oh how my hearts bleeds
Now I am defenseless
Who would believe me
And understand that am innocent
Am not guilty of the crime
Now the tears cant stop coming
But that’s history now
For am paying for that
Which I never ever did

Africa the time has come

Africa the time has come now
That we should dwell together in unity
For united we stand, divide we fall
At the mention of the letters “AU”
My heart tingles and joy leaps
A smile rises to my beautiful face
And hopes are seen in my eyes
How pleasant is it for us to
Live together in peace and unity
It is like an ointment poured
Upon the soul of the Black Race
As stream to a desert
So it is life to our weary souls

June 2004
Two days after Obj. became AU chairman

Broke my Heart once

Broke my heart once, when you shred my soul in two
Now I don’t know how but you seem to do it again
I have tried my best, yet I can’t stay away from you
You got that passion that I am looking for in life

Tried walking high, but the past holds me down
What can I do, when the world is pissing me off?
I may not like all the things that I have ever done
You should try to understand, it’s just who I am

The scars remind me, of all the places I have been
Yet I won’t cry, for all the pains, I stored them in here
I don’t make agreements, cos I don’t see a reason to
This life of mine, it’s on its own rail track

Once I tried to follow my heart, but it broke too soon
I know that I have been a fool for you all these years
Know that, now it’s the time to stop these games
I am leaving, it’s your time to get hurt; goodbye

African Rivers !!!

Have you seen the Rivers in Africa
They bring warmth, health and strength
It flows in my veins, Red and Hot
The blood of our Heart, beats like its Drums

Can you see when the sun rises up
As the grasses and leaves stretches forth
To their full length in glorious entity
To enjoy the warming power of love

I woke up, behold a wonderful new day!
Oh, my Mother Africa, our skins are black
And our hearts tough, clothed with strength
As our whole life, filled with His endless grace

In the Night sky, our warriors shine
The stars never ceases to end for us
For the fountain of youth is here
Drink, drink, the waters of my beloved Africa

You would find none sweeter nor better
African waters, is our life and hope always
Ah! Come see, come behold, come love
The Africa that I see and am proud off.

The Train

Sitting here watching the trees and leaves
Grasses and flowers skipping backwards
As I plunge forward, onward to my destination
Gentle and steadily I move one more meter
How beautiful the countryside looks
Sweeping beauty as I see the farmers work
Shhh that was the sound of the horn
Cars, lorries and animals stop as we pass by
Farm children and adults wave
Slowly from town to town we reach
And cities to cities we cross
Outside, is hot because its summer
Yet inside my train is cool
For the air conditioner is working perfectly
I see farm stead and farm animals
The big and the small I take in all I see
Selfish and greedy you may say, but its true
I swallow all that I see
For behold the beauty of nature
Expanding right before my eyes unto infinity
The obvious oblivion, has taken hold of the unknown

Michael Buble - Haven't met you yet (Official HD Video with Lyrics)

Our Noble Cause

The leaders of our land, have deserted the noble cause
And the ways of the fathers before have gone astray
And leaders today have lost sight of that glouries vision
Which we once uphold and craved for as our golden eye

Today we flee the land of our noble and heritage birth
And sojurn into the land of the unknown and strange to us
Where we understand nothing, hopping, praying and looking
That the spirits of our fathers may guide and bless us

We have come from the far and wide, to seek refugee in thy land
We have crossed the great desserts and the temptest seas
We have lived on the wind and use the stars as guidance
Behold these eyes have seen the bottomless pits of life

Yet we stand here as noble as ever, men, women and children
We have come here to ask for your mercy, grace and loving kindness
That you might take pity on us and give us a place befitting to live
We are a strong people and the ability to work is in our blood

We have come with nothing but with a great spirit to survive
Here we are today, not yesterday, nor tomorrow, but right now
In request that you might grant us favour to live among thy brethren
And ply our trade as each man seem fit to understand
