Frozen ....

How come we do not see beyond our understanding?
Even though, sometimes the things we look for are just there
Standing right in front of us, starring at us like our mirrors

We can’t see because our brain is frozen
And our life is what we think we want it to be
It is true that we only see what we want to see

As we only hear that which makes sense to us
And the other words, we leave in the garbage can
Our lives are frozen; in our hearts we can’t fly

What would it cost, if someone could mend our hearts
Cause most times we waste it on our numerous regrets
Would you let yourself be free and carried by the wind?

What’s that stuff that keeps holding us from flying high?
Pulling us to the ground; like the rock at the sea bed
Clogging the deep parts of our lonely hearts, making it broken

You alone hold the key that can set it free to fly
No one else can stop you from, going high in the sky
The rivers of life can’t carry you away, its your choice

I know that most times, it seems that we stumble though life
And other times it’s like we, just don’t understand our lives
For all that we do doesn’t seem to make any difference

We would never understand fully what or life means on Earth
For the pattern of any grand design, is not known to the players
Only to the Creator of Life, who knows the purpose to life itself

When we see that which we have always wanted to see
And that which we breath; are you sure that it’s Oxygen?
Or that which we see is not an illusion of what we want?

Our minds are filled on that which we can lay hold on
Yet we say, that we know who we are, because we feel tough
But we are made up of thousands of life that we come across

Of which our lives are changed by what they do to influence us
We claim, that our destiny is in our hands and we rule our life
When we know that there are things that would always be beyond us

Even when we give our eyes no peace till we achieve the unthinkable
Yet that bite of loneliness strikes, at that point where it hurts the most
Hiding deep in our sub-consciousness, we feel it; inside we frozen.
