Feeling Hopeless

When we feel hopeless that nothing can save us
That’s when we should be strong; for its time
For then, we stand and prove to our own souls
That we can weather the storm to the other side
Even though as the shadow of death hangs over us
And the night looks longer and darker than usual
Yet that’s when we should be happy, for its daylight
And the dark night means a bright and wonderful day
And we shall find that which we look for always
As long as we don’t give up in the hopeless river
That threaten to take us down with it’s mist of night
Even then we can find, that hope in a hopeless place
Because we are nothing but diamonds in the light
Reflecting beauty, strength and honour when all fails
All we need to do is look up and see the open door
Beckoning on us to step forward into the light of life
And see the world with new eyes of faith and hope
In those few moments, we realize, it’s the way forward

When Life Hits Us Hard

when Life hits us hard;
we fall into a tail spin
most times we don't heal from it
and go into 'self destruction'

but when it happens, that we heal;
we never remain the same
because then; something has been eroded
from the inner most part of our hearts....

who are struggling to put back
those broken moments
that life has taken away from us !!!

Every Rule That I Have Made

Every rule that I made
Every law that I have followed
Even that law called gravity
I have kept them all and more

When I walked; I actually walked
When I sleep; I close both eyes
When I run; I look back not
In faith and strength I moved onwards

In all I have ever done
In that which I have always seen
In moods that I have always known
Yet, the task I keep to heart

When thou smiles at me; I light up
Every darkness flees away
Behold the light has come now
For my life shines, bright as the sun

Not Happy !!

A new day is here but I am not happy!
For my days are so dark and nights darker
You left me and took away my sunshine
Self destruct; is a path I drift towards
I have looked up in the sky, for the light
That silver lining in the clouds, I see not
Thou art my light shinning as the morning sun
What shall I do; now that you are gone?
When I was weak, you found strength in me
In poverty, I found all the riches I needed
For you were my new day blazing with joy
You waited so long for me to come through
I thought I had it all but you took it away
The rain came but could not drown my fears
All I have in this darkness are good times
And memories of your eyes in my lonely soul
How do I say this, in simple and plain words?
Thou art my light; in this dark ugly world!

Looking down !!!

This is I have decided to pen unto you
That you may understand all I feel
For with the joy of my peaceful heart
You might enjoy and share all, with me;
All that has made my heart so glad
Of peace and truth; have I found in love
That which no man can understand at all
Save he, who has been to the bottom of life
And has risen up; strong, firm with grace!
He alone can understand what I say unto you
It is no hiding truth, I have been down there
Crushed, wounded, broken but never destroyed
On many occasions in my troubled journey
I have led the path of self destruction
And have gotten to that point where no one could see
Yea; today I stand on the Mountain top, strong;
Looking down below and remembering the days
When I used to be down; at life’s base

My Father

My Father, I do not know you, but sometimes I wish I did
Now I am about to be one, I wish I knew what to do
You were never there when I needed a father to talk to
The first thing about fatherhood; Hopelessly do I not know
How do I now teach my son how to be a good boy?
I am on this path that I have no idea what it means
The very one, I looked up for you, to show me the way
Ah, oh my! Now I have to lead my son; your grandson
To follow a path that I am nothing but a total stranger
I never knew you but I wish I did, even a little bit
This is life; the past is rock solid for it cannot change
Tomorrow, I celebrate a new life born unto me
This I can only promise you, that I would always be here
And never leave them no matter how much life pushes
You have done your mistake and its cost; was a part me
I won't make the same, for I have learnt the hard way
That I might be in his life to show him the way forward
All that I know is my Mother, which I can’t teach my son
My Father; your actions many years ago, was bad
For that you would never be a part of your grandson’s life

For they promise me, only a life I dream off!
Those eyes causes a change in body heat
Your lips has got mine stuck on it like glue
If I could kiss you, everyday all day, I would
Kissing you; causes my manhood to stand
When life treats you badly; smile always
That smile of yours takes my breath away
Your laugh makes me want to freeze time
That I might hear it always, in my heart
Your arms, is where I want to lay everyday
Oh! girl you are amazing, perfect for me
What more can I ask the creator of life
Than tell Him thank you, for creating you
Hold me, kiss me, squeeze me, don’t stop
My smile would always be perfect with you
I have no right to say this, but I’ll say it still
I love the way I feel, when I think about you
Keep shinning as the stars, of the night sky
Dazzling the Human race with its beauty !
